Sleepy Wings

The Sleepy Wings arrived yesterday – thank you for the amazingly quick delivery!  5 month old Alice went from a Wrap Me Up to the Sleepy Wings last night and slept really well.  She even managed to find her own dummies all on her own! Cheers

THANK YOU! We used the sleepy wings last night for the first time and they were brilliant!
Our Sophie is a little Houdini and manages to get her arms out of the wrap no matter how well we think we’ve done it, so to not wake up to the scrape, scrape, scrape of fingernails along the bassinet wall. This morning was amazing!
She had such a great sleep, and so did we.
I will definitely have to get some more!

We love our sleepy wings!!! baby Lewis looks for them now before he goes to sleep haha, he is beginning to roll a little more now so I thought I should try and get him used to sleeping without them, but if I don’t put them on him he is looking for them and lies there with his arms in position ready to go – too cute! thanks so much for your wonderful product, it really has made a difference to our house and little Lewis’ sleeps and his mood!

I just wanted to congratulate you on a spectacular product.  We bought our sleepy wings about 2 months ago and have not looked back!  Our 5 month old daughter Hayley sleeps soundly through the night and retrieves her own dummy when she needs it.  She is baby number 5 and we so wish these were out when our first 4 were born.  Our only regret… not buying 2.  I’ve just been back to your site to order a second set – I’m getting sick of washing the first one and waiting for them to dry before she goes back to bed again.  We are telling all our friends with littlies to visit your site, no it’s not a gimick and yes, they must buy two of them.  Congratulations again.. you’re on a winner!

I just wanted to email to let you know how much my daughter, Cara, loves her sleepy wings.  These are the best invention ever!  I wish I found them earlier than I did- Cara was about 10 weeks when I discovered them and it would have saved me alot of effort with the wrapping/re-wrapping in the middle of summer.  Cara is 5 and a half months now and when I dress her after her bath she immediately turns her head to get in the “sleepy wing position”. As soon as her wings are on she immediately settles for sleep. You are a genius. Well done!

“I just really like your Sleepy Wings because it allows their arms to be  in the arm up position without the rest of their body being restricted.  

I had been using the Wrap Me Up swaddles but these allow them to have the rest of their bodies free to move and kick and they seem more comfortable when they’re less restricted, and these will be easier to use with sleeping bags too”

Sleepy wings customer review – Victoria Goodwin (New Zealand)
These may initially look a little odd but worked a treat for our 7 month old.
I put them on Tawa with his arms up so a very similar position to the ‘Wrap me up’ swaddle which he likes & he quickly settled into a nice 2.5hour arvo sleep! so a super pleasing result.  They can also be used with arms down so would have been handy in the earlier months too when he liked his arms down by his side.

Tawa’s room is definitely getting warmer so the Sleepy wings are a fantastic cool alternative to swaddling in the summer months as their little arms are still reasonably restricted but their bodies not wrapped.

The dummy slots seem to work quite well too although he’s a little lazy trying to get them! once we showed him a few times where the dummy was and how to get it to his mouth he got the hang of it..

I’m yet to try Sleepy Wings in the car seat but sure they’ll work a treat, they slip on easily much like a cardigan & look like cute little Angel wings!

Our Sleepy wings are proving to be a great summer alternative to swaddling – we love them!
